With billions in total going into various R and D over the Zika virus
and
concerns over how glyphosate affects gut bacteria
and
the fact that it has found it's way into just about everything,
even being discovered in most vaccines tested,
perhaps we should continue to ask if it is the virus causing all the problems

such as microcephaly and other birth defects and Guillain Barre Syndrome

whether GM mosquitoes, glyphosate, glufosinate, and/or even perhaps pyriproxyfen could be responsible.

Pyriproxyfen is a pesticide added to water to prevent mosquito larvae from hatching and growing properly, which is used heavily in parts of Brazil, and had recently started being added to drinking water only a few months before health officials began noticing an increase in newborns with small heads.

The Brazilian doctors noted that the areas of northeast Brazil that had witnessed the greatest number of microcephaly cases match with areas where pyriproxyfen is added to drinking water in an effort to combat Zika-carrying mosquitoes. Pyriproxyfen is reported to cause malformations in mosquito larvae, and has been added to drinking water in the region for the past 18 months.
The team with the University Network for Environment and Health also noted that Zika virus outbreaks have previously occurred in other areas with no reports of microcephaly. The doctors also suspect that the authorities responsible for the application of pyriproxyfen, which is recommended by the World Health Organization and produced by a Monsanto subsidiary, Sumimoto Chemical, are more concerned with orchestrating a “commercial maneuver” than effectively combating the spread of the Zika-carrying mosquitoes.

Many people who have contracted Zika virus may not exhibit symptoms, and even if they do, they may be mild. Though the actual number of Zika virus cases is unknown, the Brazilian Ministry of Health estimated that between 440,000 and 1.3 million people may have contracted Zika in 2015.

While officials claim it is highly unlikely to impossible that Pyriproxyfen could cause any harm
such as what is being observed,
glyphosate was also once thought to be impossible to affect humans, but as we have learned, it is able to alter our gut bacteria which affects their makeup and in turn affects their processes/functionality in our bodies, causing a chain reaction of negative changes on a molecular level.

So, what of the synergy of these things?
And how might other contaminants/pollutants play a role, if at all?
How much research is being conducted on the combined effects of any of these factors in any of a variety of phases from pre to post entry out of and into each environment it encounters
including urine and fecal matter that is returned to the environment, and in some cases, utilized in fertilizers, etc?
And what of the methods and levels of exposure per pound of body weight?

Do they have it right?
Is the culprit really Zika?
Or does the answer lie somewhere else?
Or are the answers we have been given, lies?
Is there any agenda?

Zika

According to the CDC many people with Zika virus don't even know they are infected and won't have any symptoms

will only have mild symptoms with the most common being:

Fever

Rash

Joint pain

and

Conjunctivitis (red eyes)

Other symptoms could include:

Muscle pain

and

Headache

Zika is usually mild with symptoms lasting for several days to 1 week

and

the virus only remains in the blood for about a week.

People usually don't get sick enough to go to the hospital and very rarely die.

Once a person has been infected, he or she is likely to be protected from future infections.

Microcephaly

In many babies with microcephaly, the actual cause is unknown.
It has been suggested that perhaps it is because of a genetic problem or possibly due to certain environmental exposures during pregnancy.

It can also develop, according to the CDC, if the pregnant mother was infected with rubella, toxoplasmosis, or cytomegalovirus, aka CMV (a type of herpesvirus), and now, they say they have confirmed the Zika virus... at least that is how they are portraying this study, which, to me, only suggests a possibility, not a solid conclusion, and it is that little window they hold open that I think will lead to further discovery, depending on just how many of the layers they peel back on the onion:

From cause to confirmation-
everything isn't always as it appears.

Personally, I'm not buying it or seeing the science behind the conclusion-
or even any real conclusion at all for that matter.
For me
there are just too many unanswered questions left.

If, indeed, Zika itself is causing birth defects
it would be the first time ever for a virus transmitted by mosquitoes
and living conditions are right in 27 states in the U.S. for the Aedes aegypti mosquito which, itself (the Aedes aegypti), is nothing new having originated in Africa.

Funny how this mosquito seemed to stay out of the U.S. until Zika became the 'in thing.'

The Aedes aegypti, also known as the yellow fever mosquito, can also spread yellow fever of course and dengue fever, chikungunya, and other diseases.

It was originally named Culex aegypti in 1757, so this mosquito has been around for an incredibly long time to suddenly be causing such a stir and the Zika virus was discovered in 1947. It seems to me, logically speaking, that the problem lies much deeper than is being suggested, and that some new factor is at play. Something that has changed in recent years or decades, such as, but not necessarily limited to, the use of pesticides, herbicides, and/or GM mosquitoes.
