In light of Hurricane Harvey
you may be wondering
how the plants in TX are holding up?

According to a report published today
August 28, 2017
all systems are go and no problems have been reported.

One thing it looks like at least one of the plants will be facing is a river rise of 50 ft.

SE Texas rivers to RISE by 50ft in next 24 to 48 hours -
MANY Mandatory Evacuations

Of the 47 Reporting Cities found in the "Above 1,000 CPM" list
in
Bob Nichols Report
3 are from Texas:
Normal Radiation is 5 to 20 CPM
Current Beta/Gama readings for Texas locations:
City List Rank Number: 28  Laredo, TX.  1,158 CPM, 231.6 Times Normal
City List Rank Number: 32  El Paso, TX. 1,129 CPM, 225.8 Times Normal
City List Rank Number: 36  Lubbock TX.  1,062 CPM, 212.4 Times Normal

But I guess
these days
that's acceptable, huh?

Certainly Fukushima has calmed down and dissipated some by now, right?
Think again.

According to the following report
this past February the highest readings since the disaster some 6 years later at 530 sieverts per hour were recorded at reactor 2 in Fukushima's No. 1 power plant.

article:
 QUOTE:
"At 530 sieverts, a person could die from even brief exposure, highlighting the difficulties ahead as the government and Tepco grope their way toward dismantling all three reactors crippled by the March 2011 disaster.
Tepco said it calculated the figure by analyzing the electronic noise in the camera images caused by the radiation. This estimation method has a margin of error of plus or minus 30 percent, it said.

According to the institute, 4 sieverts of radiation exposure would kill 1 in 2 people.

Experts say 1,000 millisieverts, or 1 sievert, could lead to infertility, loss of hair and cataracts, while exposure to doses above 100 millisieverts increases the risk of cancer.

According to Tepco, readings of surface radiation on parts used inside a normally operating pressure vessel can reach several thousands sieverts per hour."

This important story released just last year gives you an idea what the ongoing battle continues to be to this day:

And the same nagging problem keeps rearing it's ugly head:
What to do with the waste.

The News on Sunday

European Commission
Brussels, June 16, 2017

It doesn't matter the country.
Going ahead and building any of the plants currently in use
and
future ones
without a legitimate doable plan already in place
was and is
a crime.
A gross injustice to the planet and everything on it
being capable of destroying land, water and lives for generations to come
compounding what some see as an insurmountable problem as it is.

If it is already being suggesting that there are too many people and not enough land, clean water, and food
I can hardly see how destroying more of it will help serve the peoples needs.

It seems to me what we need is peace
and
to share.

To come together
and
to heal-
not act like one-
for there will surely come a day when these disasters will occur again
and
in diverse places
spanning the earth.

How long have nukes been around now?

The "Keep Your Fingers Crossed" Method
is
like playing
Russian Roulette.

Eventually
it's
Game Over.

Setting deadlines
(no pun intended)
and
telling them they must come up with a plan and be able to implement it by a certain date
is no guarantee it will happen
or it already would have long ago.
